How To Prepare The Best Steak-Recipe Using A Gas-Grill

By Jeff D McQueen

Smelling the irresistible aroma of any steak made from gas-grill is the perfect answer to anyone’’s busy schedule. Grilling steak’’s an equivalent to someone’’s masterpiece, and with determination this could be learned by any patient soul.

There are a lot of factors to consider when grilling your steaks and this actually requires practice for you to perfect the art of grilling these meat slabs. A very perfectly grilled piece of steak is one great meal centerpiece and will wow your guests very much.

Read on to learn just how you could create the perfect grilled-steak through our easy to do steps full of tips & techniques.

Grilling a Steak:

Start by purchasing a ”fillet Mignon”, this is that somewhat smaller piece of ‘’steak” that is boneless and was directly cut from the loin part. This cut is really perfect for gas-grilling. Using this kind of part is somewhat costly but worth every penny.

Season your fillet together with some fresh ground black-pepper. Allow steak cut to have its natural juices for that great flavor then leave them in room-temperature for about forty five minutes.

Set your gas grill to its highest settings. It’’s best to use metal tongs in handling your fillet cuts. After placing your steaks on the grill, heat it up for about two minutes.

Splash water when you notice anything that flares up onto your fillet. Lift fillet cut in a ninety degree-angle then put them down in an opposite side. Then flip fillet every five minutes thereafter.

Be careful when handling steak. Flip them gently & place them exactly just like how you got them. Leave them for about two more minutes. Gently turn your fillet while flipping them back again.

Slowly remove your fillets from your grill, and then carefully place them in your plate, setting them aside allowing them to cool for about a few minutes will allow your guests to have a juicier piece of steak with that really great flavor.

Hopefully you”ve learned a lot with the tips & tricks that I have shared in this article. Just because grilling is one of those easy methods of cooking doesn”t mean that grilling a steak would be really easy. I”m hoping that the tips that I shared here would be helping you to achieve that perfectly done piece of fillet in order to make your guests mouth water.

Grilling a piece of steak tends to appear easy, though in reality in order to get that perfectly delectable ”grilled steak”, practice would be the key to perfection. As much as possible avoid burning up your fillet. Practicing a lot would surely and truly make you a great cook in grilling a great ”fillet Mignon” steak.

Fun and Festive Ideas For Thanksgiving Gifts!

By Jeff D McQueen

American Thanksgiving all started during 1621 when Native Americans celebrated a three-day feast for surviving the country’’s first difficult winter. Thanksgiving today is known to be a very special holiday celebrated yearly during the 4th Thursday when autumn is at its best, November.

During Thanksgiving people usually gather, as friends or as families, and express their gratitude towards God for a fruitful year. Aside from the acknowledgements made by people during this day, another highlight of most Thanksgiving celebrations is actually the dinner you are to have during the gathering.

It wouldn”t be Thanksgiving without the deliciously roasted and seasoned turkey at the center of the table. It’’s been a tradition for years and years to have turkey as dinner’’s main dish every Thanksgiving that some even call the special holiday “Turkey day.”

The gathering can also be an opportunity not only for hosts but for everyone present to acknowledge their friends, colleagues, and family for being in their lives. This is an opportunity to fix conflicts you have with anyone and do some patch ups with loved ones you rarely see because of regular busy days.

It’’s also very common between Americans to exchange gift during this holiday to express their gratitude towards each other. They usually give out food or something they could eat for Thanksgiving dinner.

Of course, each person’’s tastes are different so they usually give out food that is accepted by the local community. But that doesn”t stop certain people from giving out food that are exotic. Some prefer to give out home made goods, which is actually good and thoughtful. More people prefer home made goods because it’’s a lot more special than just buying goods from stores.

Everyone appreciates good food, even the corporate can agree to that. There’’s actually a lot to choose from when it comes to food given as gifts for Thanksgiving. There’’s a wide variety to choose from. The most popular we have is the traditional turkey. Either smoke or roasted both are equally delicious.

There’’s also ham, smoked or however you want it, which is ideally given along with deliciously homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, corn, or breads.

If you don”t like going to your local markets, you can also order food to be delivered as gifts from the internet. You might even find a wider variety online. But before purchasing it’’s best to read the buyer’’s feedbacks on that item you are planning on buying first.

Items should have reasonable or fair prices and the quality should be in accordance with standards. If you”re not sure about certain things, play safe. A trusted company will always have a lot of positive feedbacks.

The 2 Absolute Best Cheesy Burgers Recipes

By Jeff D McQueen

A delicious burger will only be delicious when there’’s melted cheese on its top. Any cheese burger enthusiast would definitely know that great feeling when biting into one juicy burger containing a chunk of that most loved cheese included inside the patty for that extra tasty flavor.

Picture out one burger containing a totally unique type of cheesy taste and flavor compared to the regular cheese burgers, at the same time absolutely delicious as well.

Here are 2 recipes that will teach you to transform plain tasting burgers to absolutely distinct delicious flavored burgers using some blue-cheese or ”Swiss cheese” that is mixed inside the patty.

Blue-Cheese Burgers

Using one medium-sized bowl, with one and a half pound of beef that has been ground, shape them into four inches long & about one-fourth inch thick, this should make about eight patties. Then lay your patties onto a very large ”frying pan” or using a very large ”aluminum foil”.

In one bowl, blend half cup sharp-cheddar cheese that has been shredded, one-fourth cup blue-cheese that has been crumbled, one-fourth cup parsley that has been chopped very finely, two teaspoonfuls of ”Dijon mustard”, one teaspoonful of ”Worcestershire sauce”, one garlic clove and one-fourth teaspoon salt. Slowly toss the ingredients together till completely blended.

Get four burger ”patties” then mound three tablespoonfuls of that cheese-mixture atop your patty. Place the rest of your four patties unto the bottom burger’’s top then pinch your patty’’s edges completely till the rest of your ingredients are sealed in. Then store for later.

Get one medium-sized red bell-pepper then cut into strips thinly.

Using one large frying pan, heat approximately two teaspoonfuls of ”olive oil” over very high-heat till smoky hot. Include your sliced peppers, while constantly stirring, or till edges of your sliced peppers turn brown. Add in some salt to the frying pan. Remove the sliced peppers from your frying pan.

Using the same frying pan, cook your ”burger patties” on medium-high heat in about five minutes. Then turn your ”patties” over and top with the sliced peppers. Then cook for about four minutes extra to achieve preferred doneness.

”Grilled Reuben” Burgers

Using one large mixing bowl, blend in one envelope onion-soup mix, half a cup water, one and a half pound of beef that has been grounded up, half cup Swiss-cheese that’’s been shredded, one tablespoonful of crumbled and cooked ”till crisp bacon. You can add an optional half a teaspoonful of ”caraway seeds”. Shape them to six individual patties. Broil or grill burgers till done. Then top using some heated ‘’sauerkraut” and sprinkle bacon.

Have fun making these delicious cheesy burger surprises. For sure your family will have fun eating these great tasting burgers. Enjoy!

Hassle Free Delicious Cookies With Cake Mixes!

By Jeff D McQueen

Did you try to make delicious cookie treats out of your regular cake mixes? Did you even think that it was actually possible to create these homemade great tasting cookies using the regular cake mixes in your cupboard?

Normally I really bake my cookies from scratch although I have recently begun to try out with cake mixes and see how I can turn them into delicious cookie treats.

From your ordinary cake mixes you actually have tons of options for really delicious cookies. So, if you”re busy and looking for shortcut ways to prepare those lovely cookies then cake mixes might be the answer to your baking needs.

Cookies Out of Cake Mixes are good for:

1) To help out amateur bakers have more confidence in their baking.
2) Help the busy mom and make things easier for when she bakes these goodies.
3) To make baking cookies a fun activity together with the kids.
4) To ease the budget. Cake mixes are sometimes on sale at $1 or even less. So it’’s great for the budget.
5) If you want to make delicious cookies & you don”t have much time, then the cake mixes would help you get those lovely cookies at your table in no time at all.

Some great tips to help you with baking cake mix cookies:

1) Be sure to thoroughly read recipe and instructions before baking.
2) Do not overmix your dough.
3) Make sure that you drop your dough mixture onto cool sheets and not on warm ones.
4) Be sure to line your cookie/baking sheets using silicone mats or parchment paper.
5) Do not overbake cookies. The baked cookies must still be a little bit soft at the top but already set at the edges.
6) Allow cookies to cool completely prior to storing them so that they will not become soggy later on.

Here are a few tried and tested cake-mix cookies that I have baked and found really delicious:

Devil’’s Food Cookies
Choco Peanut Butter Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies
Chewy Choco Cookies

Here is a recipe you should try. Enjoy!

Chewy Choco Cookies

Ingredients:

1 box dark chocolate or milk chocolate cake mix (preferably use 1 of the brands that have the one cup of pudding mix already added to the mix. Use either Pillsbury or Betty Crocker.)
1 cup baking chocolate chips
Halfway in-between 1/3 and 1/2 cup oil
2 eggs

Instructions:

Mix together into a large bowl your cake mix, eggs and oil, using large mixing spoon. The oil must be halfway in between the 1/3 and 1/2 mark. I”ve found that any more is too oily and any less makes the cookies dry. After finishing mixing the ingredients, pour in 1 cup chocolate chips and mix again. Drop one inch balls onto cookie sheet.

Try to smooth out the balls by rolling them in between your palms before plopping them down for a more evenly baked, round cookie
Bake at 350 degrees, for 6-8 minutes. Cool for a few minutes before serving. Cookies initially will come out a bit puffy, but will sink down once cooled for a few minutes.

How to Find Good Pizza Shops

By Samuel Junghenn

Pizza lovers everywhere are always on the lookout for good pizza shops. With pizza being so popular there are always plenty of pizza shops to choose from, but how can you make sure that you”ve found a good pizza shop?

To find a good pizza shop, you first of all need to know what you”re looking for. Some shops will specialise in a special type or style of pizzas, for example gourmet or deep dish. If you”re looking for thin and crispy pizzas but the shop doesn”t offer it, then it’’s time to go elsewhere.

Then it’’s worth checking out the pizza menu, because although it may have the style of pizza that you”re after it might not always have your favourite toppings. The best pizza shops will have a huge range of pizza options to choose from, and if they”ve got gourmet pizzas on the menu then even better you can be sure of the quality of the ingredients and of the pizzas themselves.

You”ll undoubtedly be presented with countless pizza shops to choose from that offer you what you”re after, so how do you narrow it down? A great way is to ask friends and family members for recommendations. The best pizza shops will have a great reputation, and there’’s no better way to ensure that you”ll like what’’s on offer than by asking people who have eaten pizza there before.

Another way to go is by researching pizza shops on the Internet. There’’s bound to be reviews of your potential pizza shop somewhere, and by researching it online you”ll be able to get a broader picture of what people really think about the pizzas on offer. A great site to check out is Pizza Finder, an online pizza shop directory that will give you plenty of options.

If possible, try to dig a little deeper into the pizza shop itself. Try to find out what ingredients they use, who the chef is and the type of equipment they”ve got if they”ve got top-quality ingredients, an experienced chef and a traditional pizza oven, then you can be sure of the quality of the pizza that they”ll be selling.

As you can see, there are a number of ways to find a good pizza shop and to ensure that it will give you pizzas with the quality and taste that you”re looking for. If all else fails check out an online pizza directory for some delicious pizza recipes an have a go at making pizza at home.

Tips For Cooking Healthy Meals

By Art Gib

We all want to be healthy. Everyone knows that you feel better, you look better, and you function better on a daily basis when you”re eating a well-balanced nutritional diet. But there’’s always something that seems to get in the way. Sometimes we will choose convenience over health in an attempt to save ourselves some time. Or perhaps we just can”t resist the urge. Or maybe the problem is simply that we don”t know how to cook meals using healthy ingredients and methods.

If that is the problem you might just need a few tips on how to cook simple and easy meals using healthy ingredients. Maybe you don”t know where to find the ingredients. Or you just don”t have any healthy but delicious recipes. Whatever the problem here are a few tips on how to cook healthier meals.

Many meals feature some kind of meat as one of the main dishes and our main source of protein. As delicious as a good piece of fried chicken is, the ingredients used in the batter and the oil used to fry the chicken add substantial calories and cholesterol to the dish. There are healthier ways to cook your chicken. Broiling the chicken at a high temperature is one low-fat option, as well as stir-frying the chicken in a wok or pan with a small amount of oil. An oil with healthy unsaturated fats like extra-virgin olive oil is best.

Vegetables should always be a significant part of our daily eating. With this in mind, knowing how to correctly cook those veggies so they retain as much as their nutritional value as possible is key. Steaming is a good way to cook your veggies. Steaming is fast, easy, and preserves the nutrients of the vegetables. Veggies like carrots, broccoli, spinach, peas, and beans taste great when steamed. Though it is possible to steam your vegetables in a covered pot of water, there are also steaming baskets available that can even be used in the microwave. Roasting is another great way to prepare your veggies. Put your veggies in a bowl and add flavoring like olive oil, garlic salt, or salt and pepper and then place those veggies on a cookie sheet. Roast them in the oven until tender.

These are just a few tips on preparing ingredients most people use on a daily basis in a nutritional, health-conscious way. But good cooking relies on a variety of ingredients prepared in a variety of different and delicious ways. It might be difficult to figure out how to make different healthy dishes all of the time. For people with this problem, it might be wise to consider an in-home cooking class. A few companies have made it possible to hire an experienced chef to teach you how to cook healthy foods in your own kitchen. If you think making sure your family eats healthy meals on a consistent basis is important, you may want to consider the benefits of an in-home cooking class.

Discover The Best Chicken Recipe for Barbeques

By Jeff D McQueen

Chicken that has been barbequed is definitely one best way of enjoying a delicious meal and plays a significant role in food history as well as within the barbeque genre.

What’’s great with chicken is that it’’s rich in protein, very filling, generally affordable and very convenient when cooking either using a smoker, a barbeque grill or just an oven, its versatility is endless.

There are lots of chicken barbeque recipes out there that have been enjoyed by family and friends that you may even try out on your scheduled barbeque parties, but certainly other recipes simply stand out and are well loved aside from being highly praised.

Generally a fine recipe in barbequing chicken includes cumin, garlic, mustard, ketchup and some other ingredients. A popular chicken-recipe may even require one glass of draft beer. Some Asian cooking would use ginger, ”Hoisin sauce”, honey and some soy-sauce. Or other recipes may use ”Worcestershire sauce”, cinnamon & sugar.

Chicken dishes are so versatile and flexible so there are a lot of chicken recipes available so you”d need to choose your personal favorite. Allow me to share one recipe that outbids the others. This certain recipe was shown on “Paula’’s Home Cooking” called “The Deen’’s Brothers Barbeque Chicken”. This dish is cooked using a grill or an oven and requires these ingredients:

1 large chicken approximately three and a half pound cut up to 8 pieces
1/4 tsp of cayenne-pepper
1/2 a tsp of dried powder of mustard
1/4 tsp of liquid-smoke
1 tsp of ”Worcestershire sauce”
2 tbsps of orange-juice
1/4 c of dark-brown sugar
1 c of ketchup

Preheat oven up to 190C (375F) while preparing your grill (brush grill with olive oil). Mix all your ingredients using one bowl excluding your chicken and set aside one-third cup of your barbeque sauce.

Next, add your chicken together with the rest of your sauce inside your bowl ensuring that it’’s completely coated and covered with sauce. Put your chicken onto your covered grill, you may also opt to use a roasting pan then cook them for about forty to forty-five mins or till cooked thoroughly. Get the one-third cup of sauce intended for basting your chicken right after twenty minutes has passed.

What’’s great in this chicken barbeque recipe includes quick & very easy cooking style. Creating a ”liquid smoke” would be tricky, and Wikipedia taught me that the chicken’’s barbeque sauce would create that smoky taste or flavoring even if your chicken’’s not necessarily smoked (smoking takes a complicated and long process). You may or may not opt to do this when your sensitive with its flavor or smell.

What I did to make this great recipe more fantastic is I used only thigh parts rather than the ”whole” chicken. Since I find thighs of chicken more juicy compared to other chicken parts. Thigh parts cook fast, so no long waiting time for those other chicken parts to get cooked.

Try this fantastic recipe and prove to yourself that this one recipe which is surely easy and quick. For sure you will add this recipe to your list of chicken barbeque dishes.

An afternoon or brunch tea event doesn”t need to be fancy or frilly but it can also just be just relaxed & comfortable. The mood will actually just depend on how you will set it up. So that’’s where most of the hostess role comes into play.

When shopping the whole day, tendency is you”d get too tired then you wouldn”t like to go back at home just to work on your meals for food, although you usually enjoy preparing things during a night prior to your shopping trips.

Set apart those turkeys leftover from last night and prepare a dressing just for that tea-party that may be thrown together within minutes. Prior to shopping day, make turkey salad/turkey cuts for sandwiches.

By Samuel Junghenn

The pizza game can be a very competitive market place and setting up a pizza business can be quite daunting, but if you know the type of things that you need to consider then you”ll be more likely to succeed. So read on to hit the ground running an possibly have an advantage over the competition.

Firstly, you”ll need to consider what type of pizza business you”re looking to start. Is it a pizza restaurant, a pizza delivery service, an online shop, or a combination? There’’s no reason why your pizza business can”t be any number of these things, with many pizza restaurants offering delivery services as well as having an online presence, while others prefer to specialise. Deciding the route your business is going to take is key in deciding what to do next.

Once you”ve decided what pizza business you”re going to have, you need to think about the type of pizzas that you”re going to be making. Will they be usual pizzas or gourmet pizzas? Will you specialise in one particular thing such as thin and crispy pizzas or will you offer the complete range with everything from stuffed crusts to pizza pockets? It’’s wise to offer a good variation, but being known for specialising in a particular style could also be worthwhile.

Your pizza menu needs to be carefully considered before you start your pizza business. It’’s a good idea to have a balance between the usual favourites and pizza options that are more unique, to cater to all tastes and preferences. Your pizza menu should offer as wide a choice as possible, preferably with the option for customers to create their own pizza recipes from a variety of toppings.

Your pizza business should use the finest ingredients you can buy and should have a great pizza chef at the helm, as anything other than exceptional tasting pizzas won”t be accepted by discerning customers.

If you consider all of these points carefully, then you”ll be well on your way to setting up a successful pizza business. Of course, you”ll need to consider the more practical side of the business as well such as premises and staff, but once you”ve got the basic idea for your pizza business then there”ll be no stopping you. To get some inspiration from other successful pizza businesses then check out your local online pizza directory, that’’s sure to provide you with ideas for your very own pizza business.
