If you”re suffering from skin problems such as acne, no matter what age you”re, you may not have any idea what is causing it or how you can cure your acne. Experts often disagree on what causes acne and there may be a number of causes. Regardless of the cause, most likely its diet related and a raw food diet may be your answer. It is more than likely due to the liver getting rid of toxins in one of several ways and the most noticeable is through your skin.
If you”ve noticed bumps not only on your face, but also on your chest, back and other areas your liver is probably complaining. It’’s telling you it’’s overloaded with toxins and it has to get rid of them.
Now you may be thinking you can put something on the acne bumps or breakouts to get rid of them such as one of the number of acne creams available on the market loaded with chemicals and in a very few cases they may disappear but they”re likely to come back because you haven”t got to the root of the problem.
Some of the oral acne medications and acne creams haven been taken off the market in recent years because they contain harmful chemicals. Be careful before thinking about applying anything to your skin that is harmful. Your liver has to evaluate and get rid of these chemicals too.
Keeping a food diary every day for a week should tell you just how much food you”re putting into your precious body that is good for you. Do you have fruits and vegetable on your list and a lot of them? Is junk food on your list? Lots of canned or processed or packaged food that is dead? Be careful about eating gluten grains like wheat, barley, rye, etc. because a large number of people are sensitive to them or actually have full blown celiac disease or are gluten intolerant but haven”t been diagnosed yet.
Once you”ve determined that you aren”t eating food that is loaded with raw living phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that can actually boost your immune system to help your liver and other organs then you may be able to see why you are suffering with acne now.
The body really needs a lot of vital, living foods - foods that are raw and in their natural states– a predominately raw food diet - raw fruits, raw veggies, raw nuts (not roasted) and raw seeds. Those are the most vital foods that will help you get rid of the toxins and acne fast. Try adding as much as possible of these to your current diet.
Once you start eating a lot of raw foods you”ll notice a big burst of energy and you”ll no longer feel tired and worn out. You acne will slowly disappear and you”ll feel good and get more restful sleep.
I know because more than ten years I had a long list of ailments including breast cancer, fibromyalgia, arthritis etc. and cured myself naturally with a raw food diet. You may be able to get rid of your acne for good providing you eat A LOT of raw foods. Just one fruit and veggie a day is not enough. Also supplementing with glasses of carrot juice, freshly extracted if possible, and green juices if possible, will greatly hurry up the process of getting rid of your acne and giving you beautiful clear skin naturally.

When purchasing hearing aids consumers may become victims to certain pitfalls if they are not familiar with how to shop for these devices, and so the government is working to remove as much of these pitfalls as possible. For the Federal Trade Commission it is important that the hearing aid dealers be able to provide the consumers with a 30 day money back trial period, and this is because about 14 1/2 million Americans suffer from hearing problems and there are 500,000 hearing aid units sold every year.
It was mentioned by the president of the greater Philadelphia hearing aid guild that 60 percent of the market for hearing aids consists of senior citizens. Hearing aids are sold to children comprising 12 to 13 percent of the market with the remaining sales attributed to people aged 18 to 65.
To get a hearing aid the first step is to see a doctor. For hearing aids, there is a new Food and Drug Administration rule that states that a person is required to have an examination within six months prior to purchasing the device and must have a medical prescription before being issued one.
The evaluation can be waived by buyers 18 years and over if they sign a statement saying they have been told they should have an exam, but decided they did not want one anyway. Because hearing loss is a symptom of a disease, an FDA spokesman says that it is necessary.
Changes in one’’s diet, surgery, and drugs can attract a response from the condition. The loss may be treated by the doctor but if more tests are needed then the audiologist will help out or you might find yourself heading for the hearing aid dispenser.
Also, licensing laws in 41 states have regulations pertaining to the sale of hearing aids but most of these are inadequate. For a hearing aid to be successful, everything depends on how a person is intent on learning about it and how much he is expecting to gain from its use.
The benefits of a hearing aid to a person can only be identified after the device has been used for a period of time.
There is no danger to the use of hearing aids. With regard to residual hearing, it is absolutely harmless except for some rare cases.
The trouble occurs when someone buys an aid without seeing a doctor and ignores the possibility that the hearing loss can be corrected medically.
Do not forego doing a little comparison shopping when you are looking for hearing aids. Be sure to ask about the total costs for the product inclusive of a service extending to one year.
Always ask for a product warranty. When it comes to warranties, then any trouble encountered with factory defects and breakdowns will be given the necessary service for up to two years at a time.
Should you encounter any problems you only need to hand the device over and the packaging, transfers, repairs, and retrieval will all be done for you by the dealers.

There are a lot of different precautions that are made these days. People understand the dangers that are out there and what they need to do to prepare for the dangers that they know are lurking around them.
The best example of this is when people know that a natural disaster is heading their way or that they are going to be living in an area that is prone to a certain disaster. If you find yourself in this situation there are some precautions you should always take.
First, you want to make sure that your family knows what to do in case of an emergency. During an emergency it may be hard to communicate or even find your family members even if they are in the same home as you.
Establishing a plan ahead of time that all of your children are aware of is something that will be absolutely necessary. When your children know where to go and what to do it will also alleviate a lot of stress from your shoulders.
If there happens to be a natural disaster and you make it to the area that your family has designated to go, you will know when a child is trapped in your home. If you do not have an area to wait, you may find that a child is lost outside of the home.
Taking the time to teach your children what can do may be very frustrating but if you are a family that is affected by a disaster, it will be well worth your time. There are not a lot of people that think it could ever happen to them.
You also have to make sure that you take the time to plan what your children should take with them. Although you may have a food storage or any emergency situation, you will also have to make sure that you have food to take out of your home.
If your home is destroyed your food storage inside is not going to do you much good. A great way to ensure that you have enough food for you and your family is to have each member of your family pack a 72-hour kit.
When you have a 72-hour kit for each member of your family you should be able to provide for everyone until help comes. The food in your 72-hour kit needs to be food that you know your family members will eat.
It can be difficult to find food that your family will eat that you know will not go bad very quickly. When you have food that is going to go bad quickly, you”re going to waste a lot of money on these kits.
If you know that you are going to have food go bad in the kit, you want to rotate the food out of the kit. This can be hard to remember, so you may want to schedule it in your calendar or your personal digital assistant.
Having it scheduled ahead of time will ensure that you do not forget about the food that needs to be rotated out. The food in the kit will be edible and you can utilize it in your family’’s everyday life so it is not wasted.
After you have made the 72-hour kits with your family you should talk to your kids about what else they would take with them. There are some items they may have in their room that they could easily grab.
Make sure that the kits you are making not only include food but they also include a change of warm clothes and a blanket. You may even want to include a pair of sturdy shoes that will survive some tough terrain.
Make sure that the kits are in an area that is easily accessible to the child. This means that you may want to keep each child’’s kit in his or her room.
Then, if for some reason you do not make it out of the house, at least your child will be able to make it out with some supplies. If you have very young children you will want to keep their packs in your room so you do not forget them.
When you have very young children you will want to teach them what they should do in case of an emergency. This plan will be different than the plan you will teach your older children.

The majority of everyone loves to eat edible eggs. They are healthy, quick, and easy to make. There is a large variety of different ways that you can actually cook eggs. Because of this it would actually take you a pretty long time to get tired of eggs.
There is such a large variety of ways that you can cook up eggs. Some people like to scramble their eggs. When you scramble them you can just eat them plain or you can add some cheese for a little extra flavor. You can also fry them. Some people like their eggs fried longer then others. It all just depends on the person. You can also boil your eggs as well. Of course when you boil eggs, you boil them in their shells and then peel the shells off after they have cooled. Another good way to eat eggs is by making a sandwich with them.
Most people eat eggs for breakfast. They pair well with other breakfast foods such as sausage, ham, bacon, cereal, pancakes, waffles, or potatoes. Toast is another good item that you can pair your eggs with. Pretty much, eggs will go with anything you wish to eat for breakfast. They are a very versatile meal.
Eggs are also great for dinner. You can just cook them up and eat them with other breakfast foods for dinner or you can switch it up a little bit and make eggs to go with pork chops or steak. Whatever you choose, it is your choice. Eggs are just so quick and easy to make so eggs are great to make on nights when you are running short on time or just have no idea what to make for dinner.
Kids can really be picky about the foods they eat but most kids seem to like eggs. Some kids only like fried eggs though and some may only like boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. Since eggs are so easy to make you can easily cook up a few different types of eggs so that you can please all the children in your family.
If you feel like eating breakfast out than remember that a lot of restaurants make breakfast foods. They usually serve all kinds of eggs. They also usually have a nice breakfast buffet with all kinds of breakfast foods to choose from. This is good for the whole family because everyone is sure to find something they will like to eat.
Eggs are a pretty healthy food to eat. They are part of the dairy group, as they usually come from chickens. Some people with high cholesterol problems might want to eat eggs a little less than other people because eggs can be pretty high in cholesterol. Eggs do have calories in them as well but they have a pretty reasonable amount so they should not be too bad for you if you are on a diet.
Edible eggs are such a simple and delicious food. You can cook them in so many different ways. This makes it easy to please everyone in your family and makes for a simple meal when you are running short on time.

The first kingdom was the Elemental; the second kingdom, the Geological, was brought into being by the Earth, herself, the crumbling rocks. The third kingdom, the Botanical, was brought into being by the Air lifting and carrying the grains of sand to water. The fourth kingdom, the Biological, was brought into being by the mating between decomposing plants and Water. The split of the fourth kingdom was brought into being by Fire, lightning bolts hitting certain animals. The fifth kingdom, the Prismatical is being brought into being by Spirit infiltrating the minds of humans.
When channeling or learning to channel, the process for nourishing the body should follow the same steps. The “earth” must be balanced through the body’’s mineral needs. The “air” being breathed must be free of contamination. The “water” being drank must be pure of contamination. The “fire” must come from internal combustion of food in the form of energy. The “spirit” must be invoked to enter by meditation and petition.
The “fire” is wherein lies the hardest part for humans to adhere to. The eating of animal flesh is a deterrent to channeling. So also is any processed food because processing starts the chain of events that returns food to the previous kingdom. This processing should be done inside the human body by the digestive system. This is where the process lies of sending part of the energy forward and part of the energy back to the previous kingdom. When food is processed before being eaten, the flow between kingdoms is lost.
Honey should be one of the foods introduced to a babe along with his milk and porridge as he is weaned from the breast. He should never be given any other sweetener until the age of six or seven where his body would be able to handle small amounts of pure maple syrup. There is much goodness in pure maple syrup in the form of minerals that will enhance the opening of brain cells.
There should never be any processed sweeteners such as sugars given. These are products that have been through the processing stage before being eaten, whereas honey and pure maple syrup are not and will do their processing in the body. This perhaps would be one particular guideline that would serve well all the way from birth onward is anything already processed is on the way of moving back to the kingdom behind. Anything not processed is moving forward to the next kingdom and is, therefore, the type of food that should be ingested. The more processing done, the more dead food that is being ingested.
Fruit is one of the easiest forms of food to eat. The only problem is it does not pack enough energy into its bulk to sustain the energy that is needed for channeling. The addition of nuts and grains and legumes will bring in the correct type of body energy for the digestive system along with vegetables.
The mineral content of food is more important than the caloric or fat content. All food should be high in vitamins A and D, more so than B or C and a high level of potassium. There are mineral supplements on the market that contain a well balanced distribution of the necessary minerals. They can be located in certain health food stores. This should be the only supplement you should need to have. Of course no red meat, and very little chicken, turkey or fish will be necessary to maintain good health, and certainly no dairy products.
Start your day with fruit and fruit alone, no grains or cereal at this time. Just fruit, two bananas a week, an apple a day, oranges perhaps two a week, and all other fruit. For your lunch only grains and water. For your evening meal protein and grains and vegetables. As far as eating fast foods, none, or at least perhaps only once a week. We also advise only one cup of tea a day and this should be blackberry. Protein can be in the form of eggs, cheese, meat or legumes.
This diet would include anything made with any grain as a base ingredient. This could be any pasta made from a grain, but not spinach pasta. Any bread made with grains, nuts or seeds, or beans would not fall in this category. They would be under protein. The choices for this category can of course be elaborated on with seasonings and flavorings. Your bread should not have peanut butter and jelly on it; that would come at the evening meal. A small amount of oil or fruit jam would be acceptable, but basically plain bread or toast would be better, or rice cakes or oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc. Any cereal will suffice, any pasta and any bread. These are the foods that especially do not want to be in your stomach overnight. Also the cleansing done by the fruit in the morning will help the digestion of these items.
The evening meal of protein will be ingested on a stomach that will for the most part be empty because the fruit cleansing will allow the grains to pass through rather quickly and at the same time prevent you from being hungry. At the same time, then, the protein will have a clear field, so to speak, to flow to the cells of the body where it needs to be before the digestive system shuts down for the sleep cycle. The same will hold true with the vitamins and minerals in the vegetables.
Please give this a method a try for a period of thirty days and then assess its value. We believe you will be amazed. Do not forget the water - 6 to 8 glasses a day, only one cup of tea. Tea has a tendency to stop digestion. If drank in the morning it will be cleared out by the cleansing process of the fruit. Your vitamins should be taken in the evening along with the evening meal, not in the morning. This will allow them to be absorbed by the cells. When taken in the morning with the fruit, they too will be cleansed away and flushed out of the body with not much good coming from them.
You should not go into this way of eating all of a sudden. You can work your way slowly towards it. If you suddenly start eating this way, the adjustment for the body would be enormous and would put you out of balance; just continue to lean more and more towards this diet.
As an added precaution, do not use any prepared foods with preservatives or sugar in them. If you need to have a sweetener use honey. This new way of eating may help take off extra weight. Also, you should not drink carbonated seltzer water; drink filtered water only along with fruit juices. Also, there is a Chinese herbal tea that would be good for you.

The ever rising cost of healthcare is one of the biggest concern that we are currently tackling in this modern age. Government and private sectors are being challenged with the costs of healthcare as more complex illnesses and diseases are being discovered. Workplace health is one big contributing factor in this issue.
As more and more people are joining the workforce each year, the workplace is becoming a central figure where healthcare cost is concerned.
To be able to keep healthcare costs at a minimum in the workplace, it is highly recommended to have good health and safety programs in place. The article will be tackling back pain, one of the biggest workplace health issue that any company is facing now.
One of the common reasons why employees file for sick leave is that their having some sort of pain in their muscles, not necessarily isolated to the back. One of humanity’’s most common health complaint is back pain.
Having employees that are often absent can incur unnecessary costs for companies since jobs are done at a much longer time, that is why it would be better if this issue is immediately addressed by having a workplace health program that attends to back pain problems.
Some underlying sickness or disease may manifest back pains in a person, but most of the time it really is just a back pain. Some causes of back pain in any form are heavy manual labor, repetitive tasks and even just by sitting idle at workstations for extended periods of time. As mentioned, back pain is too common, that is why it is of the importance that it is considered in a workplace health environment.
Body movement, or sometimes non-movement, affects a person’’s back, that is why a company’’s workplace health policy should include breaks, stretching or maybe sometimes free massages to alleviate a person’’s back pain.
If a company is just starting out, having an interior designer design a more ergonomic working environment can do wonders down the road. Having keyboards with wristpads can help prevent employees from having carpal tunnel syndrome from spending too much time in front of the computer.
Exercising is one of the things that employees tend to give up because of their busy schedules, because of this, companies should initiate some activities that can help employees exercise in some way even in small amounts of time. Encouraging exercise in employees not only tackles back pain and other musculoskeletal problems, it also helps employees have a better work life balance and better social interaction. The company may also benefit from implementing these workplace health programs with huge costs saving down the line.
Workplace health is everyone’’s responsibility. Back pains can be mostly prevented by the employees. Adhering to company safety measures can also be a big help in preventing serious back problems.
There might be instances that employers won”t yield to employee suggestions, but there are still ways that the employees can do to prevent back pain and increase overall workplace health. Suggesting cheaper options to the employer might still help the employees to be relieved of uncomfortable workplace environment, such as providing pillows if the company sees the ergonomic chairs to be too expensive.
One’’s physical fitness is ultimately the responsible of each person, that is why it is each and everyone’’s responsibility to ensure that he or she gets to exercise even without the company’’s help.
In the end, both company and employee have to share responsibility on solving back pain issues. Risk management and prevention in any workplace are the responsibility of both. Workplace health program can only be truly effective when it is discussed, shared, learned and there is mutual desire to make it work.

Any sane person would only work in a place where it is safe and free of harm. Of course there is such a thing as occupational hazard, but unnecessary risks whether included in occupational hazards or not, should still be addressed by company workplace health programs. By managing risks and averting unnecessary injuries, investments in programs can be recouped and bottom line is increased.
The workplace should be free from any needless risks and it is up to the workplace health programs to make sure this is always the case. Extremely hot or cold temperatures or health risks involving radiation and microwaves are two examples of risks at two difference workplaces. Because there are so many types of hazards, the three that will be discussed in this article are mechanical hazards, biological hazards and chemical hazards.
Mechanical hazards include ordinary common day hazards like slipping on a wet floor, the risk of falling, collisions and even entanglement. The severity of the injury depends on mostly how the accident happens.
Whether it is the office space or zoo all these risks are present in most workplaces and can be prevented with a good workplace health prevention program.
Accident prone areas should have signs that warn people. Creating barriers to prevent people from falling of elevated areas is another example. Summing all these up, you get a safer workplace health environment.
Everywhere around us we see chemicals and mixtures of chemicals. Chemicals are not limited to simply liquids or solids, there are also gases that could be both safe like oxygen and dangerous like those used in chemical warfare. Since each chemical does its own thing in different environmental conditions, it is very hard to say right away what the risk to workplace health is.
Chemicals in the workplace should all be identified and each one should have a Material Safety Data Sheet to go with them, as this is a key step in averting chemical injuries on workplace health.
These MSDS is the only resource one needs to refer to in times of accidents as these lays out the details on each and every scenario regarding the chemicals. All personnel handling or may be in contact with chemicals should first go through these.
Viruses, bacteria, pathogens and diseases to name a few are all very real danger to anyone’’s health. It doesn”t matter if you”re a teacher, a flight attendant or a miner, biological workplace health hazards are and will always be present. Biological hazards can easily travel and spread from one place to the next.
Proper education on correct sanitary habits is one of the easiest ways to prevent biological contaminants in affecting the workforce. Simple things like washing hands with soap, proper waste disposal, proper procedure for handling cuts, bruises and injuries and so forth can go a long way in managing these biological workplace health hazards.
Employers should also make it a point to make sure employees take regular physical examinations to detect diseases early on.
Better education of possible risks for the staff inside the workplace is helpful, and is sometimes better than trying to minimize risks themselves. Being taught is one thing, but actually remembering what was taught is another especially when it comes to health and risks in the workplace. All workplace health issues start with and end with the employees after all and prevention is and always will be the best cure.

When was the last time you tried to cut a tomato, only to have the juice and seeds squish out all over your cutting board? Did you throw away the knife? NO! It wasn”t the knife’’s fault. If the knife was any good, it’’s likely because it had not been sharpened in a while…Time in look at investing in a good ceramic knife sharpener.
There are several different kinds of ceramic knife sharpeners. Just a quick look at the comparison shopping sites reveals more than you likely want to know about knife sharpeners. There are sharpening stones, electric, hand held, pocket sharpeners, grinding wheels, and more. But today we”re going to concentrate on ceramic knife sharpeners.
Ceramic knife sharpeners have been around for many years, and are among the most durable sharpeners you can buy. Ceramic knife sharpeners are precision instruments that can refine your knife to a point where you can really do justice to that tomato, among many other tasks!
Ceramic knife sharpeners are made from a very dense type of ceramic material instead of stone. They are a very special sharpener and most people use them especially for sharpening very hard knives that need it.
The ceramic material used in construction of ceramic knife sharpeners is a much more durable material than other sharpening stones, therefore it will not wear out nearly as fast as a stone. In addition, ceramic knife sharpners resist rust!
Good news!
You will see that ceramic sharpeners are as hard as glass, but it is still very abrasive. (Don”t worry, it won”t talk back to you!) This is why ceramic knife sharpeners are preferred. However, ceramic knife sharpeners will become darker in shade as they remove the layers of metal from your knives over time.
But have no fear! A ceramic knife sharpener will return to its white color-you just have to clean it with a mild cleaner and some water. By the way, good tip-don”t use the ceramic knife sharpener when it is wet, always dry the sharpener before use, especially after cleaning it!
Easy To Use…
If you have seen a ceramic knife sharpener, you will know that they look like a steel rod with a handle. Here’’s how you use the ceramic knife sharpener: Place one side of the knife on the counter, or you may hold the knife and sharpener in the air like a TV chef!
While holding the knife at a 20-25 degree angle, cut downwards on the knife with the ceramic knife sharpener, drawing the knife along the blade…like a samurai! Check out certain ceramic knife sharpeners, which give you an advantage with their own angle and a pull-through motion. This is very helpful as you will then be able to maintain a consistent angle as you take your knives to new heights of sharpness! Good luck and good sharpening!

From condiments to fresh meats, frozen vegetables to dried pasta, plastic food packaging comes in many different forms and serves various purposes. The benefits of plastic food packaging go beyond a simple container used to ship and store products. With today’’s advanced technology and the growing need for more eco-friendly and sustainable solutions, plastic food packaging has come a long way. Not only does plastic allow food to be stored in numerous locations and climates, but it also helps to keep consumers safe, preserve food quality and even reduce waste.
Safety:
With foods being imported from various parts of the globe to your neighborhood grocery store, there is a growing concern over how fresh the foods remain upon arriving on the store shelves. By packaging foods in plastic, the products keep food fresh through travel and storage. Fresh produce, beverages and even dairy products can remain fresh in plastic packaging even when transported long distances, ensuring consumers are safe from bacteria and foodborne illness.
Food Quality:
Besides keeping food safe from bacteria and spoilage, plastic packaging helps to preserve food quality, as well. Freezer bags, for example, protect foods against freezer burn and ice crystals. Plastic packaging also works as a barrier against negative effects on food quality caused by exposure to moisture or oxygen. By keeping food protected and sealed in plastic packaging, flavors, textures and other quality components remain preserved.
Shelf Life:
Today’’s consumers are often concerned with many foods” shelf lives, as foods that stay fresher for longer periods of time are more convenient options that can also help reduce food costs. New technology in plastic packaging, such as multilayer package applications, help prolong the shelf life of foods such as beer, ketchup and milk. Many foods, including cooked poultry and baked goods, require a controlled carbon dioxide to oxygen ratio that maintains freshness. Modified atmospheric packages keep such ratios at optimum levels to extend shelf life.
Reduced Waste:
The combination of increased safety, food quality and shelf life that is made possible through plastic food packaging contributes to a decrease in overall food waste. Keeping food fresher for longer reduces the amount of food that is thrown out simply because it sit on the shelves for too long. Higher quality in food also reduces waste, as plastic packaging preserves foods” quality and eliminates the need to throw out food due to flavor loss or change in texture.
As plastic technology continues to advance, our food will continue to improve while keeping consumer happy and healthy.
